Hey brains-

So I’ve talked about my parents on here before, and how I’m scared to ask them to get me tested. However, a new problem arises. Focusing, forgetting things, and not being able to control my emotions has been making them pretty upset lately. For example, I just started doing my homework at 8:45 PM and my mom says, “You can’t keep forgetting about assignments like this or else you’re never going to pass”. This may not seem like a big deal, but it was big for me. I got really upset and now I feel like a disappointment. No matter how hard I try, I never seem to be good enough. I’m not really looking for advice, (I just needed to rant) but feel free to give any if you have it!


I have felt like that a lot, you really just have to do your best to not turn it into shame, since that is never productive (thanks Jessica for teaching us that :D) I’m sorry I can’t help. It makes it more stressful to talk to your parents about maybe having ADHD the longer you wait.
